Accessibility Statement

Bellyeoman Community Council want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.

For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen.
  • Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard.
  • Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software.
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader.
  • We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible is this website:

We have carried out a basic accessibility check to ensure that you are able to easily navigate and access the content on this website.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible but it returned a high 83% accessibility score:

  • Some links to new windows and linked documents open without explicit warnings, but the context of the links is intended to be self-explanatory.
  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to some screen reading software but newer PDF documents should be.
  • We only use English on our website.
  • An embedded introductory video should be widely accessible, but in some rare configurations, your browser may return a message that the video is not supported.

If you need information on this website in a different format like accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille then email the Secretary: secretary@bellyeomancc.org.uk. We will consider your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
